Speaking of John Deere,The only difference between a pigeon and the American farmer today is that a pigeon can still make a deposit on a John Deere.

Here you go;

The congress didn't read the bill, obama didn't read the bill, the media ignored what was in the bill;

The Associated Press: Companies say health care costs hard to swallow

Quote:
The health care overhaul will cost U.S. companies billions and make them more likely to drop prescription drug coverage for retirees because of a change in how the government subsidizes those benefits.

Figuring out what it will mean for retirees will take longer, but analysts said as many as 2 million could lose the prescription drug coverage provided by their former employers, leaving them to enroll in Medicare's program.

Consumers Energy, a Michigan gas and electric company with 2.9 million customers, said it will not take a big first-quarter charge because, like most utility companies, it can try to recover the added costs from its customers through rate hikes.
Of course we know why the media is just finding out this stuff.

A large trucking company just announce yesterday that they cannot afford the HC of their employees and have decided to close down, the owner said he is going to take his cash and retire thanks to ObamaScare.

Another 250 truck drivers out of a job. 30 Mechanics, 50 dock workers, maintenance workers, secretaries etc.

More then 400 jobs gone thanks to the party of HELL NO ran by ObamaScam.

Sad we are allowing Obama to do what his plan was laid out to do.

Destroy us financially.

And who else wanted to destroy us financially? Think about it, Obama is carrying out someone else's ideas.

Wait... that can't be. Obama and the Dems are cutting $500 billion from Medicare.

We'll feel it at the market, for sure.

Don't forget the price tags on JD lawn mowers and other lawn maintenance equipment. Prices will go up and shoppers will look elsewhere -- for cheap equipment made in *drum roll* China.

When all is said and done, I wonder how many jobs this will cost?

It's is all in Osama Bin OBama's plan, to bankrupt us all so we have to beg the government for help.

That's because the logic gene doesn't live in liberals. They're too busy making decisions based on emotion and drumming up every sad, sob story as the operatus mundi.

New taxes go into effect Jan 1, 2011, conveniently after the November midterms.

Companies have to start removing from profits for future taxes way ahead of time. They don't operate like individuals and wait until the last minute.

From the article:
"The world's largest construction equipment manufacturer by sales, warned last week that provisions in the legislation would subject the company to federal income taxes on the subsidies it receives for providing prescription drug benefits for its retirees and their spouses. "
Maybe they should just forgo the subsidies. Can't have it both ways.
For too long companies have gotten all kinds of tax breaks that have enabled their CEOs, etc. to take home millions of dollars per year while employee wages have stagnated or dropped.
Enough with the corporate welfare already.
