As an investor who invests in pharmacy stocks I beg to differ. ITMN, MDVN, CTIC are all stocks who have had their drugs in front of the FDA in recent weeks seeking drug approvals. Yes, sometimes big pharmacy companies buy up small companies, but the small ones usually mom and pop operations are usually funded by the big pharmacy companies to begin with.

I wonder how many of these idiot liberals, who are literally giddy about the passage of obama care, will be enraged when unemployment goes up (or heaven forbid- they lose thier job) as a result of the layoff which "necessarily" will have to occur.

are these people insane, or just that stupid?

Caterpillar Deere, and Verizon are just the tip of the iceberg. In almost all cases, the tax burdens related to this are absolutely massive for corporations in the S&P 500, and will almost certainly require re-statements of 2010 earnings, guidance, and projections. Expect to hear more multi-million dollar hit announcements like Caterpillar's, Deere's, and Verizon's, with attending consequences to follow.

Or more likely, funded the research to begin with.

You know whats funny is that Democrats who supported this bill are the very same ones crying about how the companies who are taking advantage of the writedowns in the bill and calling them tax cheaters for complying with IRS rules and regulations..

Proof positive that many of those who supported the bill didnt have a fricken clue what was in it. Hell, this is the first week the bill passed and we are finding out about all of this bs.. Imagine what else will come up as we move forward..

What fact led you to believe that they had jobs in the private sector?

I'm not sure what you beg to differ about. Also, I'm not sure why investing in pharmacy stocks (CVS? Walgreens?) is relevant.

Oh, cut the crap! I'm fed up with hearing that all Democrats are living on government subsidies.
