A couple of minutes ago there was a graphic......the (now previous) largest 4th quarter deficit ever overcome was nine points in a championship game.

Go Cincy's Joe Cool and the Bengals in the Super Bowl !

It's a little misleading because, yes the Rams were down 10 heading into the 4th, but they were at the 20 of the 49ers to start the quarter, so already in field goal range. It's not like it was some huge collapse by the 49ers, is what I mean.

The last 3 49ers possessions were awful. This was a choke job on the offense. 49ers better start looking for a new QB like the Rams did. Jimmy went Jimmy gag.

Very happy for Rams and Bengals fans... especially Bengals given their many losing years.

Have to root for Rams being from So. cal. Really like Burrow though especially after coming back from horrible knee injury last year. May the best team win!

Well, no bones about it now. The Jimmy G era in SF is over and now it’s time to turn toward getting Trey Lance ready to assume the controls.

Niners had a great season, but maybe next year.

Congrats to the Bengals and Rams. The Bengals were a surprise this year, I never expected they would be in the SuperBowl.

Maybe they should get Jared Goff...

Jimmy has known the writing on the wall for awhile re: Trey Lance i.e. he is expected to start the 2022 season. That said, what a fantastic (and unexpected) run for the Niners this year; kudos to him for getting them this far amid his own future’s uncertainty (and a couple of lingering injuries as well) - particularly considering where they were mid-season.

It certainly was a bummer they lost today, but I’m still savoring their playoff wins against Dallas and Green Bay. :-)
