Even if they don't get to the Super Bowl, the team or teams that were one trophy behind, tied, or one trophy ahead are now all gone, so the 49ers position/ranking on the overall Super Bowl wins list can't diminish .
The ten previous Super Bowl winners alive 16-17 days ago represented 35 of the 55 previous wins.
25 of those are gone.
Of the 6 remaining teams, they represent 10 SB wins.....5 for the Niners, 2 each for KC and TB, and one for the Rams.
That will be down to a maximum of 9, and possibly as few as 6 by the end of tomorrow (Sunday).
I'd like to see the Niners vs. the Bills or the Bengals in the Super Bowl .
Niners defense and special teams played well. Great game!!
On the opposite end of that re the season as a whole, and re the losing Packers, one of the commentators (can't remember if at the game or in studio, nor which network) said that, for the regular season, the Packers ranked 32nd....last...re their Special Teams.
YEAH! It’s been awhile since I found myself standing and cheering the last few minutes of a game when I’m only watching it on TV. :-)

The Niners’ win was made a hundred times more enjoyable by the fact they were the team to oust Green Bay - despite all the talk about the weather, lol. It was Green Bay’s first playoff game no less, relative to the bye. Bye-bye, Rodgers.
Niners vs. Bucs or the Rams next week. I’m psyched.

Reason: typo/added quote
Before the game, on either Fox or the NFL channel, there was a graphic that informed us that no QB had lost to the same team four times in the playoffs in a career.
Coach Shanahan mentioned on an interview that he felt the Niners had the edge in special teams over the Packers. And, special teams came through!
The first half of this game had me worried, the Niners offense was not moving the ball. The Niners defense
really stopped the Packers.
Great win!

This upcoming NFC Championship game will be the 52nd NFC Championship game (and obviously, the same is true for the AFC).
This will be the Niners 17th appearance in a conference championship game, the most by any team, breaking a tie with the Steelers.
The first NFC Championship Game was at Kezar Stadium on January 3rd, 1971.
The Niners lost to the Cowboys . The losing team in the AFC Championship Game that year was the Raiders.
That was the last 49ers game ever played at Kezar.
I didn't attend that game, but my dad took me to the last regular season game ever played at Kezar, four weeks earlier, on December 6th, 1970 against the Falcons.
My dad grew up a short bike ride away from Kezar.
