Exactly what I was wondering...
The normal habit of leaving cabinets & drawers open has suddenly become some type
of abnormal disorder...

It may be some sort of OCD. I will go close drawers and cabinet doors as well. My husband is the type that will leave a drawer slightly open. He does tend to close cabinet doors. I prefer them closed because they're supposed to be when not in use but I also do it as I can see someone catching clothing on it walking by.

My mother and sister are bad about leaving drawers open and cabinet doors. Every time I visit them, it looks like someone tried to ransack the kitchen. Thinking about my husband, mother and sister. They all have something in common. They are disorganized. I wonder if that has something to do it? (shrug).

Actually, I was referring to the posters who seem to think constantly leaving drawers and doors open is normal behavior. IT'S NOT.

It is very normal behavior. Most people leave at least a few drawers and doors open. It is abnormal to feel like one has to close all of them all of the time n

Thanks ..
I am dating a guy that comes behind me and closes doors, drawers and cabinets and it's driving me nuts..
Not sure I can put up with his behavior much longer..
Yesterday I almost knocked myself out running into a door that he closed when I wasn't looking. Geez..
May have to kick him to the curb..

Yes, PLEASE do the world a favor and hook up with someone who either 1) has the same habits or 2) doesn't mind living in chaos.
