A married man who is married to a not so good-looking woman and spends his entire life with this one woman, never thinking about other women, is in a much superior spiritual state in my opinion than a single person that cannot control his sexual urges.
Such married people are clearly mentally superior to most single men because they never feel the need to think about women and these kind of men also don't have those torturous sexual urges that plague many horny single men who will never get freedom from them.

There are exceptions to every rule. Yes, it's possible to be lazy and a parent. But it's much more common for parents to work harder and behave responsibly because they HAVE children.
And usually they don't have money or time to party after junior arrives anyway.

Logical question. Most parents immediately develop that I don't want my kids to make the same mistakes I did mentality so they try harder. They love their kid and want to provide. It can also be pretty scary when it first hits home that YOU are responsible for that little person who is totally helpless without you. Who depends on you totally. It's a scared straight kind of moment.
The child provides motivation to improve and succeed.

Why do people think that getting married and/or having kids makes you mature or more mature?
I don't agree with this.
You could be Single with no kids and be very responsible, educated and have lot of experience in life OR you could be married with kids and be broke, not caring, lazy, etc. I could go on and on.

Maybe they could not but so what if they can't. These people don't need a more attractive lady because they already achieved a hightened spiritual state that is free from all suffering and desires.
