That's the problem. They fail because they are being themselves.

I don't know about everyone else, but this is definitely true about the situation I'm in.

It's like a twilight zone episode that never ends.

Yeah, and those who nothing is really wrong with them are WEAK for changing to suit someone. If you can't win them over honestly, to hell with it and them. Sooner or later they'll figure out it was an act and be gone anyway. Probably as soon as you tell them you're going to work and you get into a pick up with work clothes on. I lied honey, I'm not really a engineer. I fix the engineers shyt though!

It's your location. Like they say, "Location, location, location!" You have charm, Froggie. There's just no one to appreciate it where you live.
Aren't there any better venues than bars and clubs? Hiking groups, museums or historic sites to volunteer for, anything??

hiking? none here.
Nothing to really volunteer for in terms of historical sites. There really isn't anything historical here besides a small plaque.

You have a million bars, a few clubs, and 3 casinos. That's how everyone meets each other.

I wouldn't last a week where you are. Unless I could drive out of town and find something interesting.

There has to be some kind of trails or parks. Look around more closely.

What kind of parks?

There's all kinds of kid parks around here. But I'm not going to go there at my age and look like a stalker or something, or swinging on the swing sets. lol

Not that kind of park. Outside of town, a state or county park, or city park on the edge of town. Open space with hiking or biking trails. There's gotta be recreational space for adults or families somewhere...?

If a guy who is too afraid to talk to them, is a complete doormat for them and whatever more... that's just asking for a low self esteem clingy boyfriend. I'm sorry but these guys are not cool, they are not nice, they are just wimps who are afraid to talk to women.

Extroverted people who are not afraid to talk to women are not always jerks. They don't always treat women like dirt either. It's all just a simple stereotype that guys who are too afraid to approach a woman use to make themselves feel better.

"Nice guy" just usually means an ugly guy who is below their standards who is too busy complaining about women, and less busy fixing up his life. There's nothing positive about these "nice guys". Besides the fact that they're human doormats and a woman can clean him dry and move on to the next guy who is going to make their lives actually fun and interesting.
How would one of these guys go about fixing up his life exactly? I'm genuinely asking here?
