Not that kind of park. Outside of town, a state or county park, or city park on the edge of town. Open space with hiking or biking trails. There's gotta be recreational space for adults or families somewhere...?
About an hour away at least. Nothing hiking or biking as far as I know.
Mostly, if you're into hiking or biking, you're driving a few hours away to get to a decent trail.
There's all kinds of kid parks around here. But I'm not going to go there at my age and look like a stalker or something, or swinging on the swing sets. lol
You can take your pick here. Very-very rural and you better know how to look at moss growing on the North side of the tree or watch the sun for East/West if you get back in the bush too far. You also can make a compass you can float with a piece of silk and a sewing needle.
Sorry Ruth...way back when before Uncle Sam had me help help I used to be a Boy Scout. You take a piece of silk and wet it. When you rub it on a sewing needle, you polorize it, and when it floats, it always points North.
I'm starting to get the feeling that being a wimp or a wuss is worse than being a child molestor.
