Those who call it the oldest profession are nuts- It's a sad state of affairs..a chain of unfortunate events that lead to a pitiful life....It's not a profession- there is no such thing as a sex worker...just a screwed up person who has hit the bottom - even upscale escorts are victims- Using prostitutes is a disgrace- They are somebodies daughter- they were a mother's little girl...a father's delight- and once they fall into this trap it is tragic...those taking advantage of them are jerks.
Around here a lot of them are wannabe actresses and having a real job would interfere with their ambitions. Example, we never hire movie extras etc because if they get the call the night before, they are not coming to work.
And for some, it's a much easier way to make 100k a year or more without working a 9 to 5'er.
if i was a hooker, i'd advertise here lol. I'm not just talking about female hookers, seems like there are some very desperate female CD posters here too
I got two stories about hookers:
I used to work as a cab driver, and I got kick backs from various "massage" places to steer clients their way. So if I picked up some alone single guy from the bar/clubs or even a group of two I might steer the conversation that way. Some of them knew the score and would just outright ask. When I got some to agree, I knew it was money night because not only would I drive them there, and get a small kickback, but I'd wait (and often shuttle them to an atm), and then drive them back. In the lobby I noticed many of my colleagues and we'd chat up a storm. Really easy way to make 300-400 over the course of a night. Not a lot of money for some of you educated professionals but it was pretty change as a cab driver. I remember this Sudanese guy who initially wanted to go to a strip club when I just suggested the "massage" place right off the bat. He ended up going 3 rounds that night, with trips back to the atm. With my kickback that night (a benjamin) I earned over a 1000$ that night but I stayed out until dawn lol. Anyways, the people I brought and the other people brought were mostly single 20-some guys. Some you could tell were hard luck for women but others you were sorta wondering why they were shelling out that much cash for girls that were merely OK. A lot of them said they just broke up with their gf and after probably (frustratingly) failing to pull another girl at a club they just say go for it LOL.
The other was my friendship with a parttime escort. She lived at home, had a boyfriend, worked at a radio station, but still from time to time would post ads on the web. When I met her, I initially tried to get with her but just ended up getting friendzoned. But after I found out she did tricks on the side, all my attraction was gone LOL She still made a good friend though. She basically did it for extra spending money. Her bf never knew about it, nor did her parents. I sometimes wonder where they thought her extra money came from. She told me most of her customers were middle aged married men. I got a kick out of one of her stories where this guy purchased the whole package for some ridiculous sum of money. He paid her up front in cash too, she stuffs it in her purse, and they go at it for the entire night in some swanky hotel. When he's done, he just takes her purse. And when she tries to get it back he just shoves her aside. So she calls the police only to be patronized, and even threatened with arrest herself. She completely believes she was raped as a result. I don't think so, but she's adamant about it LOL.
I just dont get why dudes use prostitutes. If you want to always have sex on deck at all times, build a roster of women that will sleep with you through a FWB or Bootycall setup.
As an earlier poster said, that is not an option for men who don't know how to find a woman who is attracted enough to them to have sex with them. FWB or bootycall still requires some attraction on the part of a woman.

I'm speaking for myself. You can do what you want. I can't do that because sex is a bigger deal to me than it is to you so I cannot relate. I would have to be into that person.
I've never even considered visiting one. I'd rather go without. It's called self-worth.
I won't even do a free one night stand if I had the opportunity.
Come back after 10 years of involuntary celibacy and see if you're thinking the same way...........
To be totally honest, I think it's because I'm a woman and have never needed to build a "roster". Women don't have to work very hard (read: at all) to get laid. If that's theirgoal.
I don't know, but all I know is it's illegal where I live, so I've no idea why people suggest it.
