Lord, knows, I appreciate fit female bodies as much as the next man.
But frankly, I have sometimes avoided showing too much interest in women who are extremely fit. I exercise myself, and I've learned that trying to maintaining a "perfect" body requires a HUGE amount of effort. People can do it, but those that do are left with time for little else. Most of the fabulously fit people I've met are boring. All they talk about, all they seem interested in, is exercise and diet. That gets old pretty fast. I am sure women have found the same is often true of very fit men. Does anyone agree?

Your issue doesn't seem to be with fit people. It seems to be with boring people. Nobody likes a boring person. Fit is fine though.
I'd rather have a girl have an average, curvy figure than being fit.
I saw a really tiny girl come in one day at work to turn in some scrap. Very tiny girl, short, tan, but she showed muscle. Her arms were muscular, which did turn me off. Not that she wasn't pretty, she was, and she was more or less happy.
AFter that, we had another girl come in with stuff. She had a more curvy figure and didn't show much muscle. I found her figure more attractive.
Yes. While being in a relationship with a guy who has the body of a Greek god would be fun, most of the time the gym is the center of a really fit guy's world. I'd take a less fit, well rounded guy with many interests over the Greek god every day of the week.
I'm a fitness fanatic. As such, I too am into fit women. However, while being too fit is not a turnoff at all, having a huge ego or being narcissistic is a very big turnoff. Also, people who are absolutely obsessed with fitness at the exclusion of everything else are annoying. By that, I mean the people whose only facebook statuses are about going to the gym, or dieting, or lifting heavy,
I am into fitness, but I have a myraid of other interests. I am interested in art, literature, current events, global economics, sports, horse racing handicapping and betting, video games, chess, poker. If fitness is all you care about, I'll probably find you a very boring person.
For me it's more about incompatibility. Fitness freaks tend to love being, well, fitness freaks. Their idea of a good time is waking up at 8AM on Saturday for some sort of exercise. More power to 'em, but that's just not me. I'd suggest going to the lake for a picnic, she'd suggest running a 5K just because.
Whoa there, I go to the gym and I am obsessed about eating healthy but I have plenty of other interests. And I don't get why certain people think sporadic chicks are fit....
I'd rather see some muscle on the thighs instead of fat or bone or cellular
.

And Id suggest a 15k walk up a mountain and have a picnic at the peak.
