Well, I think his point is that obesity should be "worse than" clinginess and therefore, obese women should want him.

It should be even. Clinginess should not be worse than obesity, yet it seems to be.
If it was even, then a clingy guy such as myself could get an obese woman. Because clinginess is seen as worse than obesity, an obese woman will often reject a clingy guy such as myself.

Some people aren't attracted to fat, some people aren't attracted to clingers, some aren't attracted to both. It's a big world out there, and life's too short to be saddled with someone who you can't stand and aren't attracted to.
Telling how often you seem to make statements about how the world and how women should be just so it can benefit you.
I had a similar thought. Kinda a big ego to tell others what should and shouldn't be important to them.
