The same pros and cons would apply as any guy. So we would have to be attracted to one another (duh,) be able to make one another laugh, respect one another's intellect/character, be looking for the same thing in life etc.
I will admit that one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen photos of is only half Asian.

He looks full Asian. Many Japanese men look like him.
Are they six feet tall? I'm sure some are, but this guy is just plain bigger than the Asian guys I know. But then, I know Chinese men. No so many Japanese.
I'm white and married someone who sounds just like you. He's Vietnamese, about 5'10", in great shape, and very handsome. I grew up in a small town where most people were white and I honestly assumed I would just marry someone of the same race. Obviously that changed once I got out of my hometown and I started college and working.
I don't personally dabble in this world but I've lived in white/asian dating land my whole life.
Problem with a lot of Asian man is nerdy and insecure... any race like that won't get far. But the asian guys who were athletic, confident, successful could get any type of girl they want. Just like black, white, or latin guys.
White women are overall pretty openminded these days, and especially nerdy (and they can be very pretty!) white girls will go for other races, the ones who are obsessed with anime, for example, or are studying japanese, or taught english in korea.
if I'm going to be honest then yes as a white male you would have a better chance of ending up with a white woman than an asian male. But it's not like your chances are none. Most important factors are your exterior and your attitude.
If you're really wanting one go to Europe, they love Asians in Europe.

And yet, Japan managed to leap from a totally trashed, bombed-out 3rd-world country to a leader in the industrialized world in a single generation! In spite of many people's opinion of their "race" at the time.

I've met some pretty tall Japanese, but the tallest Asians tend to be Chinese. Met quite a few who are over 6 feet.

I think that post was referring to the fact that Asian-American men don't get that far with White-American women. There are White woman/Asian men couples, but it is nothing like the amount of White men/Asian woman couples, which is actually the largest IR couple in the U.S. For whatever reason, White-American women just don't seem as interested in Asian men. It goes beyond the height issue, because Latino guys tend to be short as well, but they have no problem attracting White women.
