Oh my first post is definitely my plan for this Valentines I already made the reservations and good thing I did because the hotel was almost sold out! My second post I was just saying that I don't consider the "holiday" to be that big of a deal. We have people in this thread judging their whole existence by the fact that they are going to be alone on Valentine's.

Hey ! You know, February 14th is the woman's holidays - 'Valentine's Day'. And, March 14th is the man's holiday - 'Steak and BJ Day' .... haaa !!!

Do something nice for your woman if you want something nice back ... hahaha

Don't know about you, but I love steak ...

Anyone who puts that much emphasis on a stupid made up holiday needs a reality check. Jesus.
It was meant to be a bit dramatic, because that's the way a lot of people feel about it, especially women.

For me, I just go about my business because I've never celebrated v-day, even when I was in a relationship, so it's really just like any other day.

And April 2# was Secretary's Day which, through political correctness, has become Administrative Personnel Day. I think that being nice can get the same result as on 3/14: an an admin. asst. may take out her knee pads ... if you have a corner office, that is ...

Valentines day just like Christmas has become to commercialized and is only about big corporations making money. The original meaning and purpose has been overshadowed.
