Oh well. On to the next one!

And your point of letting me know I don't meet your requirements was for what reason exactly? When someone on a dating site doesn't look attractive to me overall, I don't message him telling him my reasoning. I certainly don't think every man will like me, either, but some men also don't want their freedom significantly hampered by children, and like a petite skinny girl. A lot of men actually prefer small breasts, I have found.

I suppose I'm attracted to more metrosexual types.

The exact opposite of a guy like the following:
-has a huge, unkempt beard
-is fat from spending so much time indoors playing video games, eating lots of meat, and giving no thought to what constitutes a healthy diet. likely to get heart disease.
-rowdy and undivertable attention when sports come on, namely football.
-is open about his sleaziness. has posters of bikini clad girls on his wall or computer desktop.
-has strong opinions about things he doesn't know about. posts angry, rude comments on Youtube which lack logic.
-despises vegetarians, makes fun of vegans
-despises liberals...
-has a Confederate flag on the back of his truck
-watches porn for at least an hour a day, would love to hire a camgirl if he could
-or, he's rich and has a sugar baby/mistress behind his wife's back...discretion is very important to him, to protect his reputation as a career/family man
-or, he is hipster-esque, tries to look cool in instagram shots, wears funny glasses, and only dates.
-despises police and people with money and power
Probably all around you but with a list that is this specific your chances are practically zero.

[i'm on both lists...]

I think a lot of people are here on City Data because they enjoy arguing. Say anything even remotely attackable, and people will totally rain down with their comments of thunder
I believe we need more clarity here

Is an educated guy, a smooth talker, an art lover who's flipping burgers and has no chance to work in his field OK? Is an educated physicists who knows little about French impressionists and the rest of culture OK? Is a graduate of an obscure Mississippi delta college OK? What about minimum GPA? What do you mean by "educated"? Usually, women use the code word "education" as an euphemism for something else, do you?

My guess is some of them are investing too much in what you say and are insulted that they wouldn't make the cut.

Why, to cut you down, of course. You prefer common interests and traits, so mocking your height--something over which you have no control--is a way to try to trump you and feel like a big man.

-art lover who's flipping burgers? maybe that would be acceptable if I were an 18 year old, but as someone looking for a man from 26-35 to be my partner at age 23, and having a university degree myself, not is not acceptable. Given that I seek an older man who is also a college graduate, since he is older and likely has been out of college for a few years ahead of me I'd expect him to be doing something with his life and using his knowledge, skill, and qualifications.

I don't care what college he went to. Or even if he went to any college at all--so long as he has a well-rounded knowledge and comparable intelligence to mine, and has acquired skills that he can use to get a real job/career, not a Burger Kind minimum wage one.

I also don't require that he be rich, but I don't want him being reliant on me and never able to do things like go to the movies or eat out because he's so poor.

Even if he were rich, I pay my half of things, and don't expect him to buy me dinner, help me out with rent, or anything like that.

Sounds like a kid I work with. 23. Graduated college with high honors and PBK. Loves all that is Obama. Vegetarian. Good person all around. Hmmm, but he likes sports. Shucks.

ROFL. Gentlemen there's hope here....
Hey I can be selective in what I read...
Wait, Metlakatla - took her out with an illegal hit from the sideline....
This is entertaining thread..

Alright, feedback time. Some suggestions:

Change the sports thing to "Does not live vicariously through sports" and "Vegan" to eats healthy and stays active, and "knows about religion but isn't dogmatically tied to one" and you'll likely find more possibilities. Just a thought.

Reads like a post from a 23 year old girl. I have some advice for you. Focus on things that are most important to you and be a little flexible. In just a couple of years, you will be past your prime and your list of standards will shrink year after year, and by the time you hit 35, you'll be begging for a man who has all functional limbs and a job. This doesnt last forever.
