I personally don't care as long as he's responsible with his money. I have never relied on a man to be the breadwinner, it simply goes against my grain of being self reliant. I spent a short period of time relying on my husband when my daughters were born but I went back to work within a short period of time. Ever since then I have worked. I simply don't believe in the men as the breadwinner philosophy.

Furthermore, from the results, you can see it is certainly important to many women. And even you admit that 15/hr with two sons just does not cut it.

Regardless, a number of women have said they don't care and I believe them. I think it has been productive for some men to read those posts. I wanted an overall picture of my chances, and right now it's less than half, but that's not too bad.
I don't think you can use this poll to determine what your own personal chances are.

Lmao. Unless your making a lot of money or have something to bring to the table such as being very sexy, what e Ctly makes you think it makes sense to expect a man with 100k or more income?

It depends where you live, a salary of 20k wouldn't be able to cover rent , that would be the rent where I live ( studio). I don't put much emphasis on money, but someone that can support themselves and are happy.

And that is a good deal, add about 10k for a1 bed, the location is why, but it's what it is.

That's because you live in Canada.

I'm sure most would say they don't care but they expect them to be making +100K.

I am far past caring what a girl I date makes. I used to care a little, but then I realized I had such a hard time finding girls I was interested in at all. I could go on dates with 30 women and have maybe the slightest interest in dating 1. If I was to add income to that? Good luck!

I'd rather have a low maintenance girl that makes 20k with no bills or debt and doesn't expect me to spend money on her, over a high maintenance girl that makes 50k with tons of bills, debt, expenses etc. Girls can spend ungodly amounts on tanning, hair, nails, makeup, etc.

I make a ton at 25 years old. I don't really "need" more. Of course it would always be nice, but I'd much have a perfect woman in every way other than income, than have a girl with high income and poor habits, or we don't get along, or just sucks in other sorts of ways.
