If she doesn't know you care, you may have issues. Most dudes can't help showing they care, it's pretty much what being a dude is about. Unless they're just not that into her, or they're repressed, or something.
Oh yeah there are. I can't think of anything more pleasant than making a date with a woman, planning it, picking her up, taking her out, and having a great time. I enjoy it, the entire process, from planning to execution. And if she has as much fun as I do and we have chemistry, she shows it too. Simple, natural stuff here.

If she never offers after a few times I'd think she'd wasn't into me as well. It's never happened, they always offer, I can't imagine a woman is going to keep hanging out with me date after date for some food and drinks or a movie or whatever.
I think what it is with you. It's not the money. It's that you're one of those very straight-laced, "I-feel-cheated" conservatives who feel entitled, long for the 1700s, and hate it that women finally have rights. Think I nailed it!

But it does give me a dose of reality. Me personally, I don't think its anything wrong with being careful, but still wanting to impress a date by buying nice things. The fact that I see some scam artists in my area...I blame that on my location, not the female gender.
The ones that believe women are just out to scam them (or their bank account, anyway), are probably the duds of life: boring, unromantic, unimaginative, unfun, unhumorous, probably have few or no friends, are pessimists about life, and have a lot more items in their "dislike" column than in their "like" column. Right now I'm very grateful that most men are not like that.
So for a man to show he is worthy he has to pay for your expenses, send you flowers, romance you, etc. ok, we got that. How do you show interest in him? by accepting to go out with him?

At some point, I tackle them and drag them into the bushes. If there's been good chemistry. But it has nothing to do with paying my expenses, which has never happened. It's about whether we "click", and have a lot in common. Money doesn't have to be spent in order for chemistry to happen.

Do you want to date a woman that starves and lives in a pig pen? I don't. Most of us cook and clean our apartments... we don't want to live in filth.
Guess what? There's a diversity of opinion among the women here. Shocker! We don't all think alike. Surely you can grasp that concept. Those of us who say it's not about money aren't being contradictory. It's just that other women disagree; for them, it's about a guy demonstrating his caring by buying them something (gift/s, meal/s). In those cases, money is a symbol for love.
For the record, I thought the ice cream date idea was cool.
That's fine, but you're in the minority. Most women think money=love. One step above prostitution if you ask me.

Most women do? Really?
Good thing no one asked you.
