What is wrong with women knowing what they want and expressing that? Or am I misinterpreting what you're saying?
To the ones who are saying their (now) husbands slept with them on the first date....I mean no harm, but I couldn't date or marry someone who pursued what he wanted from me sexually with that kind of doggishness. I don't consider men who come at you like that and they barely know you, as husband material. And I believe some of you who are saying this about your husbands...are not these men now your EX-husband?
Men can control themselves. They claim they can't because so many women have been willing to not require them to wait for sex. So now, it is an affront to them as a man and a person if they have to wait for sex. All this is: "entitlement" Male Princess Syndrome.

Why should men (or women) "control" their desire for sex? And why should women "require" them to wait for sex?
If two people want to have sex, why shouldn't they?

Even married people have to control the frequency and conditions under which they have sex...and it is biblically legal for them and (socially/morally) approved of, for them. They DO have other things to attend to in their marriage besides carnal relations.
Your statement almost sounds as if you think if a couple meet each other and they are with other people....it is okay for them to have sex, too. To say that "if two people want to have sex they should" almost sounds as if you think the couple should consider nothing else, except that.

I wasn't speaking specifically about married people and...
Biblically??!! Lost you there.

It is ok for them to have sex. Why would it not be? If they're free to have sex with each other (not in a monogamous relationship with someone else) then yes, of course it is ok.
I never said they should consider nothing else. If they want to consider other things they should. If they don't want to, they don't have to. That's between consenting adults. Personally I don't care for having sex with people I don't feel a connection with mentally; it just has never been my thing. I know plenty of people (men and women) that have sex with, and even prefer having sex with, people just because they want to have sex and they have no desire to see that person after on occasion; other times they would rather have a deeper connection. Neither is right or wrong, they're just different.

Huh. We never had that conversation. I didn't want to wait so I didn't. I had known him for years, though, so he wasn't someone I had just met.

See, not everyone sees sex as some sort of negotiation between men and women. That a man "doggishly" pursues sex and women either require them to wait or not.
Some people just view sex as a potentially enjoyable pastime, and simply evaluate whether or not they wish to have a sexual relationship with a particular person. No games.

Yeah see, if you knew them for a long time it happens naturally. To me that's meaningful and romantic sex. That's how I want it to happen. It hasn't worked yet, unfortunately. But I just don't feel comfortable with the other method, asking out strangers. I want to get to know them first, even if I feel like I've already started having romantic feelings.
