Not that I kept her around but she stayed around so I was ok what ever. I did have other options, after a while we weren't together. I never wanted to get married to her so thats why I asked her, figured I had nothing to loose (Except her!) haha

I think she should have upped the ante and said only if she can have a man on the side to take up your slack!

I wouldn't get married if I could have 10 girlfriends on the side. I really don't need that headache. Marriage is an outdated concept with little to no gains for a man. I don't want to loose all my assets

If you choose your bride carefully and don't screw her over, you wouldn't lose any of your assets.

If you were told you have over a 50 % chance of dying ...would you still go sky diving? I didn't think so.

If you're not in it for the commitment or the companionship, there are little to no gains for a woman, either.

Honey, you cant get out of this world alive. We all have %100 chance of dying.

Now as far as marriage goes, I agree marriage has no gains for a woman, why would I want to lose all my assets.
