Temptation-Its very well "known" here in Miami..All of the different Latin cultures do it down here. I'm not saying its a 100% in all of the relationships but its very common

That's interesting. I'm starting to think Miami might be different because of the heavy influence of Cubans. Even though Cubans are considered latino, other latinos from different origins are not very similar to Cubans. Cubans have their own rythm and beat, that some other latinos don't understand . I guess its safe to say that all latinos are not the same way, since there's usually a difference depending on what country a latino actually comes from. For example here in Texas, there's a predominance of Mexicans. In countries such as Mexico there might be a woman here and there that knows that her husband has a mistress and accepts it, but she is more likely the odd woman out. The majority don't accept it. I watch enough spanish t.v. to know that depending on the country, there can be huge and surprising differences between latinos. The differences in lifestyle and culture are preety astonishing when you compare Cubans to Mexicans, Mexicans to Colombians, Colombians to Peruans, Peruans to El Salvadorans, El Salvadorans to Venezuelans, etc, etc, etc. Its an interesting observation.

One of the reasons I got married was because I got sick of playing the dating game. The major reason though is that I found my ideal woman, someone I take great comfort in knowing wants to spend the rest of her life with me. I'm not interested in a girlfriend in addition to my wife.

If a person is content to just continue through with a series of girlfriends, some running concurrently, some running consecutively, then he shouldn't get married IMO. This is what single life is all about and it works for many.

Well since I made this thread my answer to it is YES!! I would get married if I could have a GF. I can change the GF quicker then the wife. If the wife gives me grief well then I hang with the GF more.

1 wife + 1 gf = 2 women = double the work. I guess I'm too lazy to see the joy in that.

I don't want to get married at all so IF I were to be so lucky as to find a GF that would marry me and let me have a GF then YES. But since it was me she wanted to marry then I need something to sweeten the pot. So no to her having a bf, I know sounds like a one way thing, but it's not. She don't want a BF and husband because she wanted to marry me, however I did not want to get married... SOOOOO if I did I would need to get something out of it for me just like she got something out of it.
