One of my girlfriends from years ago wanted badly to get married, but I didn't (Still don't) so I asked her if we get married I WANT ONE THING just like she wanted one thing. Her's was to get married, mine was to have a GF too. I would get married to her and have a GF, but she said no and so did I! She stuck around for many years after but she was free to leave. Finally I had to tell her she's wasting her time here. It's NEVER going to happen, and slowly she left. MAN THAT SEEMED LIKE IT TOOK FOREVER!!

I'm sorry to say it but the Latin culture is very much in agreeance with this..The husband has a wife and a mistress. Many times, it's known to both wife/gf.
My Cuban ex said after year 5 he's getting a mistress if we ever got married..Well we never got married and it ended at 4.5 years LOL!!
Makes total sense. She wants you and you want someone else.
She wanted him. (past tense) Now she's happily married to a man who also likes to drink.

well, it seems to work out ok for many men in italy, spain, and other "hot-blooded" countries. Just curious -- what would you have done if she agreed to your stipulation? :d could you "bring it?"
A. No she don't she was not something any normal man would want.
B. She married a drunk, so she DIDN'T do better.
C. She was ALWAYS ALWAYS depressed, no matter what was going on around her nothing made her happy.
If you only knew the reasons for not wanting to marry her you would understand. She said she would be happy if she got married and had a baby, I can understand not being happy to a looser, but she's NOT happy with having a baby? HMmmm someone has issues.
