You really have shut off your mind from the world of reality haven't you. Facts just can breach the firewall religion has constructed in your mind, and produces nonsensical responses, such as 'Jesus love you' or 'I'll pray for you', or similar.

I have observed that somehow religious people "wall off" the part of their brains that believes religious teachings from the logical, critical part. They prevent what psychologists call "cognitive dissonance" (or the discomfort the brain feels when believing mutually exclusive things) by simply never "thinking" about the religious ideas.
But I was shocked to find that when forced to choose between the two, Americans tend to side with the religious teachings.
Apparently we haven't evolved as much as I had hoped!

Yes there are some religious fundamentalists but does that make christianity as a whole wrong? We cant really compare the horrid acts of atheists and their supposed utopian regimes can we?
Ever heard of pol pot, stalin, lenin, mao. D. D'souza correctly pointed out that atheism has been responsible for more deaths in the last 100 years than all the religious wars of all religions throughout history put together. I know that atheists will argue that they didnt do it in the name of atheism, but it doesnt really matter as atheism was at the core of their beliefs. Thats like saying that the pope orders the killing of a million people and yet religion wasnt responsible because he didnt specifically say he killed in the name of religion.
What did those communists say, religion is the opiate of the masses? Sure sounds like they they were practicing their atheism fully to me.

The atheist had better be very, very sure indeed of the path they have chosen which absolutely excludes the one and only God and His Son Jesus Christ ! There had better not be even the slightest shadow of a doubt in their convictions which denies and mocks the Living God !
Indeed one special day thats coming perhaps in the not to distant future will absolutely settle the matter once and for all. The horrendous results of a wrong decision at this particular time are final ... there will be no do overs.

Evolution is a theory based on science. Proven absolutely, not yet, but there are staggering amounts of evidence, with new evidence being found every day.
VS. a collection of fables written 3,000 - 4,000 years ago when the earth was flat, and the center of the entire universe.
The sciences used to investigate the theory of evolution, anthropology, geology, biology, and others have developed a theory of evolution, supported by mountains of evidence.
Much much less is know about the theory of Gravity, so you better tie yourself down when you casually dismiss theories that disprove your fables, as you might just float off into space.
Theories hold value, are rigorously supported by the scientific process, in fact one holds you in your chair right now. But that is just a theory
