I'll be sure to let the Pope know of this error.

You have the freedom to break the law, but if you get caught, they still put you in jail.

Another twist to this sabbath story...got done reading Mark 2:27 and somehow God (in the form of Jesus) has changed his mind. Now he's much more relaxed about the sabbath.

And the Bible is a book we're all supposed hold in high esteem? When so much of its stories contradict each other?

Only if it were god, if you got caught jaywalking, you would have to get stoned, drawn and quartered, or some other messed up punishment lol.

And from reading this thread, it never amazes me to see how believers justify some of the nonsense. Reminds me of listening to North Korean people defend Kim Jong Il sometimes.

Here's a video that puts the sabbath in perspective.

Well of course Hell will be filled with mockers of God. Not once do any of these people thank God for every breath of air they take in. God gives them life and they spit in His face, and flip Him the finger. Such people find comfort in their condemnation of Him, and join forces with other like minded people. Yet such people are not smart enought, or at least not wise enought to understand what awaits them when their wasted lives are over. It is because I have experience the other side first hand, that I really fear for their future. The Bible tells us it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. And those who mock Him in this life have much to fear.

So, how is murder defined? As "unlawful" killing. Who makes the laws? Man. Do man's laws change? Yes.
