Why waste time on something that doesn't exist? The bolded proves my point. You all aren't really sure!

How do you know I'm angry at Zeus?

I think you're clutching at straws. He was commenting on the alleged god of Judeo-Christianity.

Whether it is better or not is not the point, there is a difference.

Granted both end up ending a life. However, murder means when it is ending a life out of being malicious and the other is regardless of a reason, take care.

That is no sense. It is a old myth bore otu freom juries that have aquitterd defendent i the past for such acts. Nothig to do with what actual law is.Kind of like saying the Simpsom case makes it OK because he was aquitted. It actaully happened in mnay staes i mnay trials because the jury decied that the perosn(man or woman) was not respeonsible for hie/her action under duress. Often women are still acquiite because jurys think he deservede it and its a comon defense.

Sooo, which bible is the "right" one?
Letting the Pope know doesn't do anything. I'm not Catholic. I'm pretty sure you don't know what you're talking about. I've seen your other post... seems like you hate Christianity. That pretty much means you hate everyone since the majority of the world, especially the USA, are Christian. Hang in there, I'm sure you wont stay ignorant your entire life.

I have always found it interesting that so much vitriol can be hurled at a God people don't believe in based on His actions in a book they think is nothing but fiction, yet not once mention that the exact same book says that "even while they were sinners" this same God was willing to take on human flesh and die for them, because He loved them. They accuse Him of genocide for the flood, without once acknowledging that the same book that says the flood happened, also says that mans thoughts were evil continually. It says that God pleaded with mankind, through His faithful follower Noah, for over 100 years, and they did nothing but mock him. Mankind was so evil and wicked that only eight people made it onto the ark. People make it sound like God wiped out a society of care-bears or something. The Aztecs were offering up their women and children as human sacrifices, what kind of evil were a people who lived 900 years capable of? Maybe us contrary and squabbling human beings are the inconsistent and contradictory ones who can't get anything right and God is just doing His best to save our mucklin behinds.

So how about a little consistency about what parts of this book you are going to get all angered over. I have not once ever hear an atheist express any anger over the way Christ was treated, but they get all "save the whales" about an evil society getting wiped out by a flood. Oh, and the whole Egyptian first born thing? Every person was told what would happen, when it would happen, and how to prevent it from happening. God said "let my people go" and He warned them nine times. By the tenth time it was down to "let my children go, or I'll take yours", but still God should mercy and put the choice on them because any person could have prevented the death of their first born by simply marking their door with the blood as they were instructed.

So you are trying to tell us that everyone on earth ( lets face it there were more than just the middle east existing) including babies and small children, the debilitated and the elderly, the animals and all were all so evil they ALL had to be wiped out? LOL Mercy my rear!!

Not to mention the completely impossible story of this ark, and the after effects of this so called world flood. You go water your plant for 40 days, then keep it submerged for months and tell me what happens to it. Exactly what did these people eat and use for water for the years and years it would take for the dirt and water to become viable to use again?
