I get a lot of Islammists arguing that there are multible truths when they don't understand at all how it feels to be lied about in such horrible ways. Muhammad had no compassion for God or Jesus of the NT. THe living Muhammad thinks it's ok to teach that Jesus was just a lying, decieving, false prophet to whom Allah loves, and proclaim that all Christians are all liars to whom Allah despises. Ever have your pure love for someone lied about and dragged through the mud? Much less have people deny you ever suffered a horrible experience. It hurts. There is only one truth about Jesus. Not multible, PROFOUNDLY conflicting stories.

The truth is it is your truth or his truth, Jesus ( the person or what he supposedly did) is not everyone's truth and certainly not mine, I am an atheist.
Why is it that some people (in general and a lot of people here) are so intent in saying the Christianity is a fraud, a sham, a lie?
One almost never sees that same kind of thing when it comes to Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism or Islam.
Gosh, I'll bet that more than half of the threads on this forum are about saying Christianity is a sham. Why is that? Why is it so important to some that Christianity be shown as not true?
I do find it interesting that so many on this forum find it important to say Christianity is bunk. I have my theories-mostly having to do with "what if what the NT says is really true".
Maybe because those of us who are other religions and traditions don't spend our time telling others they are going to hell.... think about it.....

You not believing that the NT is true doesn't mean it isn't true. It doesn't create a seperate truth, it creates a seperate lie. Either you are right or you are wrong. There is no two seperate truths on the matter. I find giving Jesus the benifit of the doubt to be the way to go. If you give him the chance and believe him to be the guy he said he was, and did as he did in the NT, you'll find you start living within the phylosophy of the Christian Buddhist. THat there is spiritual deaths and rebirths, with God's compassion inbetween.

DoH for the very simple reason that judaism, buddhism, hinduism and islam are very small minorities in this country. People living in the US and classifying themselves as christian are the vast majority that are posting here.
Why as the most visible religion and majority religion are you trying to brand yourself in persecuted martyrdom.
You are not the martyr you are trying to be, you're special, just like everyone else.

You believing it is doesn't make it true. So again, it is YOUR truth.
I am not going to believe JUST to believe, THAT would be a lie. I need real proof and there is none.
My mother is Catholic, I know all about it. Want NOTHING to do with it.
Interesting article about the similarities between Christianity and Islam faith. http://www.sierraf.org/articles/Nelson.pdf. If every religion would love God and their neighbor as themselves, we would not have the problems we have in this world. Its a shame there are so many hypocrites!
There is a very good reason this is the case. The father of all lies, the ruler of this present evil world is active in trying to hurt the only real truth in the universe. He would be pleased if all mankind were Muslims, Buddists or any other religon other than Christianity. Those beliefs pose no threat to him while Christianity has already defeated him and eventually will totally defeat him. It's a spiritual war and it has been going on since Adam.
