The good news is that he also offers salvation and forgiveness to anyone that would trust in him and turn to Christ.

So, really...the question of God hating you is completely up to you.
"'God so loved the world...' but he hates you."

No contradiction there either, I guess.

Define "world". The verse is not saying every person that ever lived.

Uh huh. You've arbitrarily decided that that particular passage in your bible excludes some people from the world. K.

Do you honestly think that it says that every person that ever lived is included? Because the same verse goes on to say that those that would believe will believe. The next couple of verses state that those that don't, are condemned.

I think that it's convenient to exclude people from the "world" if you want to believe that the God who IS love actually hates.

Created people, created sin, created people to hate and created the cure. What a awesome thing to worship.

Where does it say that God created sin? I'm not aware of that verse.

He is not the author of evil. Sin is the rebellion against him. The first sin was likely Lucifer rebelling against God. The first human sin was Adam disobeying God, and sin entered the human race.

Soooo.....when you're relaxing at the post office drinking coffee with the town gossips do you toss that stuff into the conversation? If so....do you find them saying things like, "Excuse me, preacher, but I just remembered I need to start slaughtering the hogs." (?)
