He is not the author of evil. Sin is the rebellion against him. The first sin was likely Lucifer rebelling against God. The first human sin was Adam disobeying God, and sin entered the human race.
The ALL KNOWING creator had to come up with the concept of sin. Had to think it out and test it and implement it, no?

Are you suggesting that a rational mind is required for a concept to exist? That's the TAG argument. It argues that for logic to exist, there had to be a mind to conceive of it -- specifically God.
God demands humans to worship Him because the one and only way humans (and angels) can fall all starts with failed to worship Him. The typical path is you failed to worship God, you no longer love Him enough, you start to grow by yourself, your pride may develop that finally will lead to sin. Once law is violated you need to leave. After leaving God you will have to to turn evil as God is the only source of good. That's the way how Satan fell from an archangel to a devil.
To avoid this from happening, a freewill have to follow the first commandment to love God because this is the only way to get a freewill secured from falling in a realm of eternity (i.e., heaven).
If such constrictions were true, then such a god would be both evil and incapable.

Your holy book says you lie:
Quote:
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Do a word study on the Hebrew word for "evil", and you'll find that it encompasses everything from things we'd call acts of nature, to out and out evil such as demonic activity.
The fact is, yes--God does bring "evil" on some people -- meaning calamity. I've never denied that.
The other fact is that there is evil in this world--opposing God's will, that God does NOT author.
In the verse you quoted, it refers to the idea of "calamity", not sinful activity. God is never said to author that.
