They can only answer this with extra-biblical interpretation and tradition (Satan was a fallen angel who rebelled, Satan was also the Serpent and thus a "murderer" because he "tricked" humanity out of a tree of life, Satan was the father of Cain, Satan was created a perfect angel and was jealous when God made them bow before the newly created humans with their fancy-dancy Free Will, the Book of Revelations is the magic "key"-text to understanding all of the Bible, etc.). "Satan" in the Hebrew Bible didn't kill anyone (his inciting of David to issue a census in Chronicles - as opposed to God inciting David in Samuel - probably cannot constitute a charge of murder, even if a plague resulted from the census and sent by God). "THE satan", as a common noun or title of one of the gods of the Divine Council in the Book of Job, did kill Job's children - but this was with the permission of God. Regardless, this "satan" of Job is not the same "Satan" with a capital "S" that later Christianity would adopt as the Devil.
Many orthodox and fundamentalist believers reach their own "stumbling-block" or "adversary" when they fail to comprehend the evolving nature of "the satan/Satan" in Judaism and Christianity, and the Bible itself argues against and invalidates their traditional beliefs.

I think you would not be having these claims made against you if you could at least provide some references to where normative orthodox Judaism accepts Satan as a diabolical angel (telling someone to consult a rabbi is not a citation). The earliest Jewish sources that refer to Satan as an angel are the later parts of the Book of Enoch and the later parts of the Book of Jubilees - these reflect an evolution of Azazel to Satan in the former, and Mastema to Satan in the latter (Enoch was written over a long period, so time had changed the identity of the "Evil One").
But these are not part of the Hebrew Bible or the standard Jewish collection of accepted books, so not really part of what most people consider "normative" Judaism. So far you have made claims without backing them up. It's not surprising that Richard is putting you through the wringer - you have provided no evidence for what appears to be a personal belief concerning Judaism.
