How did you like that slippery move Ham did to try and avoid the .50 tax per admission? Sold it to himself as a non-profit, and then when he learned he would lose most of the public money, sold it back from Crosswater Canyon to the original entity.
So your earlier statement that it was a ministry was a falsehood.
AIG is. I misspoke -- the Ark Encounter is not organized as a ministry, to my knowledge.

Looks like you would support a Muslim museum then with public funds that is structured the same way the Ark Encounter is. Maybe on donated land right next to the Ari Park?
They could call it Abrahamic Center.
Wadda ya think?
If a community wanted to do that, that's up to them.
The problem with both primitive Fundamentalist Christians and militantly-atheistic Leftists is that they seek to dominate the dispute with simple "answers", and to recruit the simpler minds who need something, or someone to demonize and, if the point-and-grunts all start pointing in the same direction and grunting in the same key, persecute -- whether in the Europe of the Sixteenth Century or the Middle East of today, and leaving intelligent skeptics with nowhere to go.

I would like to see how the local fire and police depts are providing $60-70K worth of 'service' to this park over the course of one month! What about the KY residents that attend and pay the tax?(they are already paying for fire/police service, thru their income and property taxes).
Imo, the problem with this park overall...its a one time visit kind of park, its not something where people are going to keep coming back over and over again.

And you'd be cool with your tax dollars going to fund that, eh? You wouldn't feel a secret desire to see it go broke, snapped up and turned into a Baptist church at a knockdown price? Honest? (If you are unfamiliar with the word, there are Online Dictionaries).
I don't mind admitting that I could die happy if I saw The Ark experience go broke, The Creation Museum put into receivership and Hamm sued for fraud by the local committee asset -stripped and deported to Australia who would bar him at the airport, if they have any sense, and the whole shebang turned into an Evolution education centre.
But we all have our fantasies eh? Like the one about the atheists who regularly demolish you roasting in hell while you lean over the heavenly balustrade sighing "If only they'd listened to me!"

The problem with posts like this is that it demonizes atheism and fails to understand what our aims and objective are. Let me set you straight. We merely intend to force all churches to pay taxes, praise Satan and send the faithful converts to evolution home with a "Hail to Darwin! Dawkins is his prophet!"; all kids to be dressed unisex and be instructed in street fornication from Kindergarten, and all but the top 5% populace deemed Superior Specimens Euthanized and turned into aviation -fuel by Global Liberal Big Government order.
What's to be worried about?
No. The idea is that we want the society we have now, which is secular, scientific/technical and based on humanist Law. Just that the ongoing attempt of organised religion -ANY organised religion - to take control of government education or law would be exinct, and anyone could believe what they wanted (in spite of the evidence provided in all schools) but keep it to themselves.

Yet, you're really militaristic and angry sounding in your efforts to bring that about.

And you are living in a fantasy world, where nothing is as it actually is, and is only as you imagine it.
