What is the origin of the universe in general and humanity in particular?

What happens to one's conciousness when the physical body dies?

Any answer other than "Nobody really knows." is a fabrication.

That's just one example. And not all Christians believe in the Trinity, either.
Baptist’s believe all three are the same deity, just different representations of it.

What other denominations do not believe in the Trinity besides Jehovah’s and Mormons?

Until you look at the evidence. Then "Nobody really knows" is a fabrication.

From what writings we have, the first Christians. The trinity does not appear until the end of the 2nd century AD.

I'm always glad when someone brings this up.

In my home town we were somewhat famous for the "churches on the four corners". At the main intersection of our small town were four churches -- the Methodist, the Presbyterian, the Episcopal, and the Baptist. One block away was the Catholic church. In other places there was the Assembly Of God. And...oh yes...as the town where Mormonism was founded, we also had (at that time) a small Mormon church. Do you think that the good christians of Palmyra could sit down and pray together? Nope. Petty differences and squabbles prevented that. Oh, some years they would hold an ecumenical service that almost nobody attended, and then the other 98% of the year they divided themselves back up and said unkind things about the other congregations.

So when I hear christians talk about christianity, my first thought is about -- as you point out -- which version of christianity in a terribly divided belief system.

Not sure, what are you trying to say? Plz elaborate.
The theme of this thread -- as given in the thread title -- is "which religion is the true religion". And there seems to be an idea within christianity that the petty squabbles that resulted in so many splinter churches (methodist, presbyterian, catholic, mormon, reformed, assembly of god, episcopal...and on and on...gives the sense that each church seems to think it is winning the contest to be the true religion.

While there are many Bible-based, Christ-centered denominations ("religions"), not all members of a denomination, church attendees or those who practice its religious tenants - are Christians. Without Christ, one's religion is in vain and one has neither the Father/God or the Son/Jesus Christ.

Thus, no "religion" established by man is the 'right one' - Only individual believers in Christ - which will ultimately come out of many nations and denominations. These are the ones "who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb/Jesus Christ and who worship God in Spirit and truth."

Can you imagine Almighty God ultimately accepting people on the basis of church attendance?' (... as if waiting for people to tell Him which is the 'right church'?).
That's not going to happen!

God's angels will ultimately separate the wicked from the righteous (Matt. 13:49). There will be no confusion then about the "True Church of Christ." The parable of the wheat and tares (Matt. 13:24-30) and the teaching about the Word of God dividing people (Hebrews 4) and the judgment of all people by the very words spoken by Christ (John 12:48), etc., all speak to this ultimate reality.
Awful lot of judging in there...and I thought that was god's job.

Matt.7. [1] Judge not, that ye be not judged. [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. [3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
