You asked what do I say to those who think it is ok to enslave others, and my answer is to direct them to the gallows for HANGING. Is that really hard to understand?
The "stock-in-trade" was confusing me. I've just not seen that phrase before.

I think slavery should be a capitol offense, and I don't give a rat's ass what your scripture says or doesn't say about it.
Good for you. Others disagree. So who is right? How do you determine that?

You're begging the question. Google the phrase if you need to understand the logical fallacy. I'm sorry if you've simply been presented with a topic you don't know how to answer. But you simply saying that something is bad does not mean that it's a universal standard.

Welcome to the discussion. We've gotten past this point. Now please explain why that is true.

Duckin' and runnin' and dodgin' and runnin' and duckin' and dodgin' and runnin'.

To anyone with a modicum of morality, slavery is despicable, despite your evil god-thing giving it a pass.

Because people do not like being hurt, and it is wrong for others to hurt you.

The logic is not that difficult.

If fundies were capable of logic, there wouldn't be any.

You guys keep making statements and assuming they're true.

So WHY is hurting others wrong? Are you simply unable to explain why without giving your opinion?

Agreed. When I see some of the posts on here to the contrary it helps me understand why we are where we are as a species. Ugh.

I really don't understand some people's thought processes. And they wonder why we have an issue with their bible and bible God.

Obviously.

I'm just asking someone to give me an explanation of why some things are immoral without giving an opinion. STILL waiting, as it's gone completely over the head of anyone that has attempted to on this thread.
