Boy, you all are making me hungry...

But I wanted to go a smidgen north of Culebra on 1604... Has the traffic flow improved dramatically since they messed with the lights (Shaenfield, New Guilbeau, Braun) last week or is just us? We drove up that way yesterday at 6:30ish and today just before 5 and cars were actually moving, not doing the endless roll-and-stop we've gotten (sort of) used to.
So if it's not just our imagination: Kudos to whoever came up with that!

Default Traffic

Seems like with the new businesses popping up we are getting more traffic. I have to leave 10 mins earlier then before. I guess thats the price of progress.

Is the traffic on 1604 north of Culebra actually getting better? I haven't been up there in forever and that's mostly because the traffic sucks. I thought the AR shopping center would lighten the load a little and if it's actually doable now, I'd be pretty happy.

Traffic at 1604 and Culebra definitely sucks at a little before 6:00 PM, or at least it did last night. The main issue was people driving slow and dumb and believe it or not every one of them was on the phone. go figure
anyhow, we went to Mama Margies and it was pretty good. I had been to the one on SW Military before in the middle of the night and it was ok, but not as good as this one. I love the hot chip thing and the nacho appetizer is insanely huge. That's what my wife got and she didn't even come close to eating half of it. I got the beef fajitas and it was pretty tasty.
I also found the Jamba Juice. It's going in one of the small suites in front of Super Target.

Default Costco Rumors

I'm hearing the Costco rumors in the Alamo Ranch area again. This time the rumor has Costco building on Lonestar Blvd. Anyone have any info...or heard anything?

Is the Rome's on Culebra open yet? I'm trying to call them, but the phone is busy. You'd think that would mean it was open, but you never know.
