Come on Texas, do it for these beautiful kids who lost their lives to gun violence!
Go away.

If anything, based off everything I have read the past two days from flip flop LEO reporting, I would say this is all an argument for more private gun ownership. The cops will not help you in a life threatening situation and will stand down until everyone is dead is the message I get. You only have yourself to rely on so arm yourself.

I'm listening to Uvalde EMS scanner archive. Last shots in school reported at 12:52p, near 1.5 hours after ahooter entered. As late as 1:05p police were refusing to let EMS through roadblocks.

I wonder where all the numerous lies came from? Was it just CYA from LEO's? Or worse?

I don't know but it's awful, whatever it is.

I am old enough to remember the U. of T. Administration Tower shooting that happened on campus in Austin in 1966. And this is the biggest cluster of LE action or lack of it & subsequent press conference gibberish I've ever seen in the course of all of the mass shooting events since then.

I've heard of calls for an independent commissions to be established so as to FIND OUT THE TRUTH and ONLY THE TRUTH.
And that seems like a reasonable idea...

Officials released an updated timeline of events that seems more accurate. There were officers in the school within a couple minutes of the suspect entering the school however they didn't or couldn't enter the room where the shooting was happening. Once they got a key from the principle they opened the door and fatally exchanged fire with the shooter. The rear door was being propped open by a teacher who was taking things from their car. The shooter was in the room for over an hour but nearly all of the shots were fired at 11:33 with a much smaller number fired at 11:40.
