crime rates reveal next to nothing about your actual individual crime risk. Not even close.

As someone who grew up in the South Bay, I'd like to point you all to the Lion King meme that refers to Oakland. Come on, google it.

Oakland Hills, Oakridge, Lake Merritt..perhaps...

SJ is just awkward. Nothing's open on Sundays. San Pedro Square and its out of tune bands....The downtown can't even sustain a movie theater.

Alas, there is a conundrum that really needs to be addressed and I really dont know how: Affordable Housing.

Downtown is booming but only for affluent people.

It was a madhouse in Downtown SJ tonight. It was like a zoo. There were just so many people out and about to a point where you can't even walk on the sidewalk, and the streets were packed with cars.

Same goes for DT Oakland...Uptown is packed on friday nights
