I started sweating just watching the weather report.

I actually had one or two 90-degree days here back when we had that run of hot weather in April.

80s and 90s on deck! It's still warm out right now, I'm sitting in my backyard watching the twilight slowly fade away and the stars are starting to come out.

I'd be fine with this if it didn't feel so muggy out. Ugh, it feels like Houston in March. Not happy about that, but I've pulled out my portable AC and feel pretty comfortable, ha.

I was a little annoyed by the 80 degrees here today, until I remembered that in my hometown it was around 90 and considerably more humid. And without the nice scenery.

My hometown doesn't actually top 100 too often, but the heat index regularly does so it didn't matter much.

I don't handle muggy very well. I'll take a 90-degree day of nice dry heat over a muggy day of 65-70 degrees any day.

Anyway, it looks like this heat is going to be around for a while, with the hottest days of the week coming up starting tomorrow.

Sitting out back in my anti-gravity chair with my laptop. At 9:15pm, the sun has just set, the temperature is very nice right now, and the air is still and calm. Not supposed to drop out of the 60s tonight.

Took my son to that water fountain park in Ballard and he loved it! I enjoyed relaxing in the heat, even though it was making me tired, and occasionally walking through the fountains myself for a refreshing cool off. My digital thermometer, which sits in the shade in the back yard, is currently (as of 6:20pm) reading 79.9 degrees F.
