Who would have ever thought that Russia would be concerned of prophetic implications of war. In one of Russia's latest news articles they write about Russia's fears of the "Yellow Invasion" this in part is Russias concern of a conflict with North Korea.
Also Russia accuses North Korea of working with Ukraine on military technology.

That's when Kennedy closed some bases in Turkey to appease the Soviets although that was not revealed at time or ever publicized. Most or all of the missiles that the Soviet Union sent to Cuba remained there. It was obvious at the time that it was just bluster. However, mid-term elections were coming and the Democrats needed a boost. Their Commie pals gave it to them.

The only difference today is that the Democrats probably can't get anything out of it. The DPRK, China, and Russia look to come out ahead. Clinton, Bush, and Obama made sure that the booby traps were set to defeat future American initiatives.

Incorrect.
Some nuclear armed rockets remained, but for only a few more weeks,
and only because we didn't know about them, at the time.

Wow. Just think, with your vast knowledge and broad perspective had you been president at the time of the Cuban missile crisis the whole incident may never have happened. I'm impressed.

If Richard Nixon had been president, it never would have happened. Kennedy had gone to war with the American steel industry when there was a general price increase. He raved at them to stir up his leftist pals in the various news media. He was able to bully steel company executives into rescinding the increases. Investors were shaken and quickly began to pull out of the market which led to a recession, generally called the Kennedy Recession at the time. The Democrats needed a miracle as elections were at hand. They got one with the kind help of Fidel Castro and his Soviet overlords.

This isn't hidden information. It was widely covered at the time. However, there was little mention of the fact that Kennedy closed several bases in Turkey to satisfy the Russians. Did they actually remove some or all of the missiles from Cuba? That was debated for years.

We know now that they removed the last of the rockets (not missiles, those had already been removed) several months after we had our elections. But they didn't do it for our benefit: they no longer trusted Fidel.

That too has been debated.

BTW, a missile is a projectile with a rocket engine. That's why the V-1 is not a missile.
