Electronics can be shielded by wrapping them completely in conductive material such as metal foil; the effectiveness of the shielding may be less than perfect. Proper shielding is a complex subject due to the large number of variables involved. Semiconductors, especially integrated circuits, are extremely susceptible to the effects of EMP due to the close proximity of the PN junctions, but this is not the case with thermionic tubes (or valves) which are relatively immune to EMP.
A Faraday cage does not offer protection from the effects of EMP unless the mesh is designed to have holes no bigger than the smallest wavelength emitted from a nuclear explosion.
As we cannot coexist peaceably with islam, so it is with the contorted ideology of the American left. Both systems will be content with nothing less than total control, so ...
I am in agreement with you.

Yes, she does, but, for the most part she seems to be on our side.
That said, take nothing she posts as true without checking

Wikipedia is only partially correct. If you want better details about EMP and
faraday cages, the guy in the picture/video is a subject matter expert.
I have studied Electronics, Radio, Computers, Electronic Warfare, EMP, CME, Cryptography etc for decades and can tell you that most people only know slices of the technology.
US and South Korea military drills are in preparation for the inevitable invasion of North Korea. With all of the threats from the regime and their recently developed long range nuclear missiles, this years drills are very possibly a cover up for an all out invasion. In the event we do invade, prepare for the potential nuclear retaliation.

The North Korean government fired three short-range ballistic missiles on Friday — each failing before or during flight, according to U.S. Pacific Command (PaCOM).
“The first and third missiles at 11:49 a.m. and 12:19 p.m. [Hawaii time] failed in flight. The second missile launch at 12:07 p.m. appears to have blown up almost immediately,” PaCOM said in a statement on the North Korean missiles.
“The three launches occurred near Kittaeryong, North Korea. We are working with our Interagency partners on a more detailed assessment and we will provide a public update if warranted,” it said.
The missiles reportedly flew about 155 miles before falling into the Sea of Japan.

Maybe you should make a note that this YouTube maker has a bit of a vocabulary problem. Not that I disagree with his assessment but some people may get offended.
Having been in several of those drills, I don't recall any plans to invade N.K.
We would, of course, do all we could to silence their artillery.
Television and radio broadcasters broke into their regular programming with a "J-Alert" warning citizens of the missile launch. Bullet train services were temporarily halted and warnings went out over loudspeakers in towns in Hokkaido."I was woken by the missile alert on my cellphone," said Ayaka Nishijima, 41, an office worker on Honshu island.
"I didn't feel prepared at all. Even if we get these alerts there's nowhere to run. It's not like we have a basement or bomb shelter, all we can do is get away from the window," she told Reuters by text message.
The White House responded to North Korea's successful missile launch over Japan on Monday with a statement from President Trump noting "all options are on the table."
My money is on Kim Jong-un. His record against the US is perfect. Now he has this country in a corner. He'll get what he wishes—just as he always has. I'm happy that it won't disturb me in any manner.
Just think—his tiny country is one of the most powerful in the world.
