Yeah, we're ready to join the rest of the democratic rust belt.

I'd say we are pretty open minded.

All of this helps to remind me why I'm no longer a democrat.

Not at all. But a person that says such a thing is the definition of someone that knows how to win Pennsylvania

I'm about as conservative as they get, and I don't consider myself narrow-minded at all.

It seems the so-called "progressives" only believe in diversity when it comes to seeing things their way.
No, that's not what the OP said. I'm the OP and I said no such thing.

I also didn't mention diversity at all, so I don't know where you got that from.

Don't have much time; more later...

Sure it's small minded. The majority of Texan's voted for McCain. They passed a law allowing for the teaching of the Bible in school as an elective this year. The have one of the highest rates of children without medical insurance. Funding for education per pupil is one of the lowest in the Nation. Just yesterday they suspended the State Senate rules to pass a Voter ID law designed to dampen minority/poor voting...it doesn't get much more small minded than that...Good thing the rest of the Nation is half sane because the South and the few Western Militia States are still living in the Stone age.
