I have been a American Idol fan since the first season, with this Nicky or Micky Minaj person as a judge, I am not sure how much more I can watch of this season. Is it possible she can be removed after the season starts? Perhaps if the rating fall enough she will.

I think the reason people feel the way they do about this mikki chick, is because she is so young and doesnt really have the experience or the years out in, in the music industry.

I mean really. It is kind of an insult.

Very true she's hard to watch

They shud get rid of Nikki Minaj...and replace her with Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue

Atleast Nikki Sixx wears a better looking wig

Tried to watch 5 minutes of it yesterday, against my better judgment----but it was the train wreck I expected. I don't need to watch a catfight between Nikki and Mariah. I don't watch the Housewife franchises, so I don't need this. Never thought I'd be saying how classy Steven Tyler and JLo were, but compared to this....

And thus ends my American Idol watching. I've upped my Netflix and will be watching some good movies instead. And I can always catch a musical performance or two on YouTube.

Being a judge on AI is a win-win for singers, since they can rake in major bucks for little work while keeping themselves in the public eye until they decide to do another album and/or tour.

It is really interesting to see the negative comments about Nikki Minaj. I havent seen Thursday's episode but the first episode I thought she was likeable. The banter between her and Mariah got a little painful at times but Nikki didnt bother me at all.

I'll have to watch last night's episode

Yes, we watched the first episode and were surprised because we found her entertaining, likable and sincere. She went into high gear last night, and our opinion changed dramatically. Nikki was obnoxious, interrupting everyone with her comments. I brand her a control freak.
