I like Bindi because she is improving so much. She definitely does not have a dancer's body but you can see how hard she works to maintain the poses, steps and stretches. That's what the judges are seeing in her.

Alek on the other hand just seems to be walking through it. He is awkward and his partner always seems to be dancing around him. I just don't know how he has lasted this long unless the voters are voting for him because he is likable and is a hero.

Wow this season went by fast.

I am pulling for Carlos because I am sticking by "my own rule" this show should be for 21 year olds & up.

Bindi has done an exceptional job for not coming from dancing background and I like a more 'beefy' female body type being shown as well as slender. Plus Derek needs a 50yo non active type to show his magic on we all know he is great with youngins & athletic types.

If DWTS holds true to form, we may see Bindi knocked down a peg or two on one of the last dances. It seems the judges do that every season so that the scores are closer and the winner is not so obvious. Then, for the last dance, everyone gets all 10's. That's one of the things I hate about DWTS -- same old pattern, season after season.

As I mentioned, Bindi's bubbliness gets on my nerves so I was rooting for Nick. However, Carlos might have bumped him from my top spot -- he is an amazing dancer! Alek is clearly getting the "hero" vote; he definitely should be outta there.

I must say, Julianne has made worlds of progress from the first time she sat in as a guest judge. At that time, every other word was "you know what I mean". She is really well-spoken and articulate now....although she does mimic Carianne most of the time. She needs to develop her own persona.

Finally, that duo with Val and the pro partner -- HOT HOT HOT....can't wait to see them when they come to Sarasota in January.

Tonight's elimination was a surprise.

Spoiler
Sorry to see Carlos go. I thought he could win it all.

And let me add that I cant remember the last time the final freestyle dances didnt all get perfect scores. It's pretty much a given that, unless a star falls flat on his/her face, he/she will get a 30.
