I'm sorry she is having health issues. Blood clots and pneumonia are nothing to take lightly. I'm surprised she was able to dance the last number. I'm battling a bad asthma exacerbation and I cherish every single breath right now.
That said..... she should have dropped out Monday night. Alexa and Mark should not have been eliminated this week.
Saw on the news this morning that Tamar has withdrawn from the competition. IMO she never should have accepted the spot to begin with if she had such a huge schedule to adhere to. Running from one thing to another and then landing in the hospital. For someone who had "pneumonia" she managed to look all 'brave'. I kept thinking she was just being a drama queen so I'm glad she's gone. She could dance pretty good but all the rest I could live without watching.
I agree totally. But DWTS offers so much money that I'm sure Tamar and others in the past accepted the invitation no matter how busy their schedules. So far, she's earned $200,000+ on the show: $125,000 for the first 2 weeks, $10,000 an episode for Weeks 3 and 4, $20,000 an episode for Weeks 5 and 6, $30,000 an episode for Weeks 7 and 8, and $50,000 an episode for the next two weeks.
Now that she's withdrawn, there will probably be no elimination this coming Monday night, since the show has a schedule to which it must adhere.
Haven't watched more than the first dance yet, but have two complaints. One is the almost topless dresses with the see thru panels. Am I the only one who thing they look like something in a strip club? No class, no style. Just use a paste on and a skirt....
And that waxing. Ugh, that was horrible and I fast forwared past. Ick. And that hairy chest looked very nice and inviting but the hairless one? Awful.
But please have the women cover up sufficently they don't look like they're dressed in wide strips of tape.
I was waiting for a joke after Alex danced, and Erin was talking about his chest waxing, I really wanted Alex to say, "I see you've had yours waxed too", or something to that effect. Erin's low cut dress looked nice on her though. Carianne's (sp) looked a bit strange with the mesh under it.

She looked positively awful after she danced on Monday. I'm pretty much over the martyr thing. If you're so important that you have a schedule that causes you to collapse, perhaps you are not working smart?
Wow that's a lot of money. No wonder she came on the show. I wish Tamar a speedy recovery
