It rained a bit today, first time since November. Warmth is finally breaking through with temps reaching 11°C next week. It's also going to be rainy which will help to melt the snow. Bring it on, I'm ready for a barbecue.
I'm loving the backdoor front. Take a look where the fronts are setup. mid Atlantic continues to get torched while the cold front in the northeast sagged southward since Tuesday making it seasonable in the NorthEast/New England.
Struggling to get out of the 50s here today. Meanwhile 80s widespread just south of here.
Nope it doesn't look deep but that is because it has compacted. I think we've had around 200+cm fall (that count was from awhile ago so not sure how much fell after I quit adding it up) and 25 cm melted away so far....so a lot of very heavy snow out there now.
Yep this province does indeed have some hills (shhhhhh its a big secret from the rest of Canada)...those hills are a continuation of the Cypress Hills Cypress Hills I was told by our RM that areas, in the hills, were recently measured and they reported 8'+ of snow in the low spots and it is the runoff from them that is worrying most here. In 2011 my city got off with little flooding but the melt from those hills brought a lot of excess moisture to those downstream. I haven't heard though what is out there up stream from us.
Love your barn tvdxer And I watched your video (sounds sound familiar Woodrow ;o)
