Toronto seems too unreliable for a snow pack. The Maritimes would be better, but even they get too much winter rain.
In any case though, a Toronto winter would be much better than here, no doubt about it. Their current weather looks fantastic.
Somewhere farther north in Ontario or anywhere in Quebec would probably suit you. Montreal may have warmer than ideal summers, but the winters are solid.
I would definitely move to Canada and not only for climate reasons. Not as bat**** crazy as the US.
Well, that doesn't seem to make people here any happier during this period. Our weather is extremely depressing and thoroughly uninteresting most of the time. Lots of cloud, still chilly, frequently foggy in the east, any soil is turned to mud even if it only rains a tiny little bit, everywhere is damp, the trees are just ugly and bare, the landscape looks lifeless.. some snow would go a long way to making everything appear much brighter. Also, it makes me feel safer at night, probably because it makes things appear brighter. I love going for walks at night in the snow, and I sometimes see other people doing the same with their children (I remember one night in January, after a very heavy snowfall, a family went for a snowball fight on the road, since it was covered in several inches and no cars could get by).
I'd be more than happy to switch my climate for yours.
Ya lets switch.
Actually while I find English summers very poor. For the winters I prefer green or brown to white, and I don't mind when it's cloudy and rainy. Snow doesn't do a thing for me especially when it snows here more than anywhere's else.

Wouldn't England get a bit too cold and wintry for you at times?
