Depends on elevation - Brasstown Bald (here in GA) might be peaking right now. The 2nd-4th weekends of October usually have the best colors in the Smokies.

Hoping to do a hike as well next weekend, not sure where.

Mean max for October 3rd is 67 F/19 C but it's only expected to reach 50 F/10 C today.

Yup... it's now 1pm and it's in the 40s still. Is this Dec 3rd or Oct 3rd? With 15-25mph wind gusts it feels colder.

It's 85F (29.4C) Now

Dp still 62F

Beautiful blue dome sky

High is forecast to be 87F (30.4C)

Low forecast at 70F (21C)

This is the coolest/driest day since early May.
