Up to 1.30" so far today and not done yet.

Raining all day, winds picked up as we knew, just raw. Good movie or book reading moments.

Look at White Plains Wind Chill Value.

With cool temps & winds come wind chills.

6° on Mt Washington. 32° in Johnstown. Lots of Low-mid 40s at 10:30pm.

Quite a few branches down around here, very difficult to see at times, I almost drove right into one. And it's not even that windy.

Rain, rain, rain, rain, and rain nonstop! Fayetteville, NC had observed 3.06" of rainfall yesterday(October 2, 2015).
Average precipitation in October is 3.21", we already exceed monthly average and received 3.37" total for the first two days of October.
Fayetteville, Fayetteville Regional Airport
However the station stopped recording about after 22:00 at the moment.
"Flash Flood Watch" and "Wind Advisory" has been issued right now.

Just noticed that the average low here in October is 74.6F. Fall month indeed. Actually, interestingly enough, I believe October is the only month that Key Biscayne has higher lows than the Airport by a full degree! Winter is similar, summer we're slightly warmer, and spring we are virtually equal as well. That being said, I don't trust the readings taken at Cape Florida (too close to water, improper ventilation) Anyway, we'll see what transpires this winter.

Lows today

Key Biscayne (My Pws) 74.7F

MIA 75F

First frost today with a low of -0.5C.

Some weather sites predicted 8C for that night. Amateurs

Euro00z shows a Stormy pattern next 2 weeks. Troughiness in the East = Cool and Wet.

Frames are for Oct 9, 13, 15, 17. Storm after Storm showing up. This is going to be interesting if continues through winter. You can already see the Polar Jet Stream digging down. 540 line dropping south.
