Been a chilly past few days in the Vancouver area as the flow has turned NWly. Yesterday high temps hovered around 13-15C with frequent showers however we still managed to sneak in quite a few sunbreaks. Some areas in the northeast sector got a freak hailstorm; many people had to bring their shovels out of summer hibernation.
Even colder today with afternoon temps barely cracking above 13C throughout most of the region. It's currently 10C with moderate rain and raw NW wind is blowing.
Fortunately the rest of the week looks to be pleasant.
Now (but still only) 9 days away..... Continued indications from Euro and GFS that a sharp cold front comes through next week and that the weekend of Sept 30-Oct 1 will be chilly for Eastern US which "might" carry over into the entire following week.
For now..... enjoy this pattern..
