I will have to dig back in my records and check Feb 1990.

It was one day in an otherwise rather warm month.

Is La Niña already affecting the climate?

Here the month of November (equivalent to May in the northern hemisphere) had 10 days with lows below 10ºC/50ºF until now.

The average low in November here is 15ºC/59ºF, so the lows are way below average. Yesterday i had a low of 5.3ºC/41.5ºF, totally uncommon for November.

Coldest i can find was Feb 26th 1990 with a low of 44. Many days with highs in the 80's that month.

I think February 26 was the day. It got down to 9°. And that's pretty cold for Tampa that time of year. Was it a record?

44 is colder than normal, but nothing to party about. 20's would be very cold for us.
