  • C/*3.2- Corn tortillas stored next to chrorizo sausage. Store raw animal foods separate from ready-to-eat. Divider was placed between chorizo and tortillas during inspection.
  • C/*3.1 A can of Le Seuer tender baby carrots and a can of Glory seasoned pinto beans had deep dents in the cans. Food packages shall be in good condition to protect the integrity of the contents. Cans were discarded during inspection.
  • 4.5 A large build-up of ice observed on the ceiling next to condenser fans in the large walk-in freezer. Equipment shall be free of an accumulation of ice, food residue, and other debris. Reportedly, PIC has made arrangements for freezer to be defrosted and they have a freezer truck out back to hold foods while freezer is being defrosted.

  • */R/3.2 Observed raw Bob Evans links and patties stored with ready-to-eat foods, and special Select ready-to-eat ham stored with raw Smithfield Pork Shoulder Roast in the retail display case. Different types of raw animal foods shall be stores separate from each other and other ready-to-eat foods to prevent cross-contamination.
  • 4.4 Repair the damaged door seal on the walk-in cooler to facilitate with temperature maintenance, and to provide a cleanable surface.
  • PRODUCE:
  • 4.4 Observed the air curtains and door seal on the walk-in produce cooler were damaged. Repair these areas to facilitate with temperature maintenance, and to provide a cleanable surface.
  • 6.4 Observed coats were stored on the produce storage rack. Store coats in a separate designated area separate from food and equipment to prevent contamination.
  • RETAIL:
  • *7.1 Observed the Wet-Ones wipes were stored above the napkins in the retail aisle. Toxic chemicals shall be stored in a separate designated area from food and equipment to prevent contamination.
  • 6.2 Observed three light fixtures in the case with the refrigerated Jell-O products were non-functioning. Repair these light fixtures to provide lighting requirement as specified in OAC 3717.
  • 4.1 Observed the thermometer in the Yogurt case was in disrepair, but the case was holding at 41°F and below. Provide a functioning thermometer.

  • 3.4/4.4- Foods in hot case were holding at improper temperatures including but limited to: wings 128-135°F, general tso 114°F, honey BBQ chicken 120°F, mashed potatoes 128°F, onion ring 132°F, corn dog 129-132°F. Top of case ambient air temperature appears to be 118°F and bottom 93°F. These foods were discarded and a repair call was made.
  • R6.2- Replace the burned out light under the ventilation hood.

  • 3.2- Virginia ham had a sell by date of 7/22. Ready-to-eat foods shall be discarded within seven days. Ham was discarded.
  • BAKERY
  • 7.1- Glass cleaner stored next to cake toppings. Store toxic chemicals below and away from food and single-use items. Spray bottle was relocated.
  • DELI AND PRODUCE
  • 6.4- Coat stored on food rack. Store employee personal items separate from food and single-use items to prevent possible contamination.

  • 4.4- Gasket on walk-in cooler is damaged/duct taped. Replace gasket equipment shall be in good repair.

  • */C3.2- Raw sausage stored next to can of pepper/onions and precooked sausage sandwiches. Cross contamination shall be prevented by separating raw animal foods from ready-to-eat.
