The "young couple"
as our tab referred to us as. I get it, the place has yet to have an actual grand opening, but my experience today has me thinking the place won't last long. First, the online menu doesn't look at all like the menu you get, as well doesn't supply prices for what you order. It's a hand written menu on notebook paper that has been copied for guests. They should really spell check their menu, it's only professional. A nice patron at the bar supplied us with the menu as well as ordered our appetizer for us. There was no service until after we went to the bar and ordered ourselves, the waitress that served our burgers came in around 6pm. After ordering our burgers at the bar, the lady that came in after 6pm came out with our burgers and asked who ordered the one without cheese...neither. We ordered 2 burgers, one with American cheese, onion, lettuce, and a pickle, it came with no cheese (at first-got that fixed) no onion, no pickle. The second burger came out correctly. I asked if fries were coming on a separate plate, the reply was you have to order those separately. After pointing out the menu says "come with fries" we were shortly served those after. She was the only person to serve us that wasn't drinking, and was very friendly, she made me change my mind to leave a tip. If it wasn't for her I wasn't leaving one since we had no service the entire time. The appetizer (cheddar nuggets) was good, burger could've had A LOT less garlic seasoning and fries were alright, they are fries. Last but not least the drinks were definitely made for a crowd that's looking to get toasted off one drink-not my style, but it's a drink. No one told us they only take cash either, we found that out by locating a handwritten sign on the wall after having our drinks and eating our appetizer, my significant other walked to speedway since they will have an ATM coming soon. I wish I could've told the staff myself but it seemed they were too ready to drink themselves & it was hard to decipher who does and doesn't work there since patrons seemed to be behind the bar too. While we spent our time there I watched 3 people around the age of 25 (like myself) sit down, not get any service & leave. I also watched 2 separate couples come in, look around, decide to sit and leave from the same problem. If you're looking for a pub, this is the place. If you're looking for a good grilled burger and some sit down service, this may not be the place we're looking for-YET.
I hope they can fix these minor issues and have an amazing place for EVERYONE to enjoy once the grand opening occurs.
