    Observation: Large containers of beef barley and pea soups were not date marked.

  • THERMOMETERS - FUNCTIONALITY - INTEGRAL OR PERMANENTLY AFFIXED MEASURING DEVICE
    Observation: The Arctic Air cooler is not equipped with an integral or permanently affixed temperature measuring device.
    Correction: Equipment used for hot and cold holding shall be designed to include and shall be equipped with at least one integral or permanently affixed temperature measuring device.
  • FOOD CONTACT SURFACES - MICROWAVE CLEANED
    Observation: Inside of microwave is soiled.
    Correction: Clean and maintain microwave.

    Observation: Food is obtained from an unapproved source. Located in the chest freezer was a bag of sauerkraut and a bag of tomatoes that were given to the facility from a customer.
    Correction: Discard foods from unapproved source.
  • Critical: PLUMBING - APPROVED SYSTEM
    Observation: This facility lacks a grease interceptor.
    Correction: At a change of operator, a grease interceptor will be required unless the Plumbing Inspecton Department for the City of Two Rivers approves a variance and this variance approval is in writing.
  • FOOD CONTACT SURFACES - SOILED
    Observation: There is mold build-up in the spouts of the soda dispensers.
    Correction: Maintain food contact surfaces in a clean condition.
  • NON-FOOD CONTACT SURFACES - CLEANING FREQUENCY
    Observation: Excessive frost was noted in both of the under counter freezers in the bar area.
    Correction: Clean all equipment on a routine basis to prevent accumulation of soil residues.

Recently mpved here from Florida, we live close to the Sandpiper so we've been coming here once every week or two for the past few years. Food is always perfectly cooked, SUPER nice folks/ family that runs it and really great prices. Relaxed atmosphere, pool table and darts, tables or bar service. Outdoor seating too!
