Posted 11-19-2014 at 07:12 PM by aliasfinn

That's what they always say on Antiques Roadshow when asked where they acquired the antique. They inherited from their aunt, their grandma, their grandpa etc... . You can't really expect them to say that they were in an antique shop and took advantage of a nearsighted shopkeeper. Although, you will occasionally hear an honest soul who isn't too proud to say that he found it in a dumpster while deciding what to have for breakfast. As a 20-year resident of Orlando, I really didn't...

Hospital

Posted 11-19-2014 at 10:04 AM by aliasfinn

The buildings are so huge I always get lost inside them and I'm always reluctant to touch anything because of diseases. My old man was in there once because of back surgery and a bunch of other stuff and for two weeks I would go up there every day and night to visit him. He hated it in there...
